Vale's project launches

On May 29 the Vale Rawlings Project was officially launched at the Brewhouse Arts Centre, Burton-on-Trent. An invited audience was drawn from local businesses and community groups and joined by some of Vale's descendants. They heard about plans for a play and a book. Three extracts from an early draft of the play about Vale were read by 11 local actors.
Our first Vale Rawlings merchandise also went on sale that night. It was a set of four postcards, reprinted from the 1914 originals. You can buy your own set - or individual postcards - from our Ko-fi page.
